Cosmetics
If you ever look to the sidebar on the left, you’ll notice that I’ve moved some stuff around. The link to my RSS feed is now closer to the top, mainly because I happen to think that Google Reader is the greatest it a long line of Google web applications that will eventually control my life. (I’m serious! I’m using Google Chrome right now!)
I’ve also eliminated the tag cloud, which never really looked the way I wanted it to, and replaced it with a list of blogs that I read and that you too should read. If you want to look for a specific tag you should just type it into the search box. I’m keeping the monthly archive links for now, but I may reevaluate in the upcoming weeks.
Scheduled Downtime for Friday Night
I’m told that my web host will be rebooting their servers this Friday night, October 24, at 10:15pm Pacific time, which I believe is 12:15am Central time, so things will disappear for a period of about 15 minutes (hopefully). If you’re really interested, you can watch the magic at the DreamHost Status twitter feed. See you on the other side!

The biggest downside to voting absentee is that you don’t get that cool “I Voted” sticker. Oh well.

Oooh, Shiny!
By now, if all has gone to plan, you should be looking at the newer, shinier, bluer CrazyDrumGuy. I’m still working out a few kinks (like why the goddamn tag list isn’t doing what it should be!), but I’m confident enough to push it out into the wide open world for your viewing pleasure.
Of course, I’m not perfect, so if something happens to be totally destroyed, do let me know.
Diet Coke and Electronics Apparently Do Not Mix
So I spilled some Diet Coke on my laptop at work the other day, so expect a slowdown (but not a recession) in posting while I send my comptuer off to the fine folks at Dell.

Sorry for the lack of postage, but I’ve been busy in my real life. Hopefully, John McCain will pick Mitt Romney to be his veep, thus providing a nearly infinite supply of lulz until November. Then we’ll be back in business.
