Obama Meets the Gore-acle, and more

President-Elect Barack Obama will meet with former Vice President Al Gore tomorrow to talk about climate change we can believe in! Gore has previously said that he does not want any cabinet-level post in the Obama administration. (Reuters)
Remember Vito Fossella? He’s the Congressman whose reelection bid ended last May after he was arrested in Virginia for drunk driving while on the way home from visiting his mistress and illegitimate child, or, as such people are commonly known, a dumbass Republican. Anywho, he’ll be spending 5 days in jail in Alexandria since his BAC was 0.17, more than twice the legal limit. (CNN)

Move over, Caroline Kennedy! Fran Drescher–yes, as in The Nanny–says she’s qualified to replace Hillary Clinton in the U.S. Senate. She’s never held public office, but then again, neither has Caroline Kennedy. Of course, that would be the end of C-Span. (New York Magazine)
