Secret Service Investigating Palin Rally Crowd
This is what happens (and what should happen) when you threaten to kill a presidential candidate:
The U.S. Secret Service is investigating a threatening remark directed at Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama during a political event in Scranton.
The agency followed up on a report in The Times-Tribune that a member of the crowd shouted, “Kill him!” after one mention of Mr. Obama’s name during a rally Tuesday for Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin.
…
Spokesman Darrin Blackford said the agency takes the threat seriously and will make an arrest if it can determine who shouted the remark.
This isn’t the first time that the Secret Service had had to respond to hatred from McCain/Palin supporters. If it’s loud enough for the press and the Secret Service to hear, why isn’t it loud enough for John McCain and Sarah Palin to publicly condemn?

Secret Service Investigating McCain/Palin Crowd
We’re starting to see the consequences of the GOP’s hate campaign against Barack Obama. The Secret Service is now investigating possible threats against Obama as a result of a crowdmember’s reaction to something Sarah Palin said:
The Secret Service is following up on media reports today that someone in the crowd at a McCain/Palin event suggested killing Barack Obama, according to Secret Service spokesman Malcolm Wiley. The shout of “kill him” followed a Sarah Palin rant on Obama’s relationship with radical Chicagoan Bill Ayers.
This is what happens when you incite your supporters to call someone a terrorist, or you imply that your opponent is treasonous, or you hint that the other guy isn’t “one of us.”
